How it Ends, with a Whimper?
I thought I would post this, so you may be somewhat reassured should events turn to our nation’s advantage.
I teach my college students to base their positions on the most objective information available, rather than the public gossip so readily available. It’s been said otherwise, but a look at facts, as collected by the Washington Post, may be truly illuminating:
So one might surmise that going back to the old days means low-paying jobs. Here’s other data points:
With peak gas prices often TWICE what they are now, one might then conclude that a returning would mean a. lower wages AND b. super high gas prices i.e. high cost of living, INCLUDING healthcare.
But perhaps more universally and less personally, one might consider the following:
That is a crowd of people on food stamps; in fact that’s 10 MILLION more people on food stamps in 2013.
This is decidedly a crucial election, and those who end it with a whimper, or perhaps it might more appropriately be characterized as a whine, would share the consequences with all peoples, as is done in all socialist states.
